How to file a takedown notice
Email dmca@usatimes.com with:
- Your name, address, telephone number, and email.
- A description of the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed.
- The URL where the allegedly infringing material appears on USA Times.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
What we do
We investigate every notice. If the claim is valid, we remove or disable the material and notify the user who posted it.
Counter-notice
If your material was removed and you believe the takedown was in error, you may submit a counter-notice. Include the same information as above plus a statement that you consent to jurisdiction in the appropriate U.S. federal district court.
Repeat infringers
We terminate accounts of repeat infringers under the DMCA.
