How

Email corrections@usatimes.com with:

1. The URL of the story.
2. The specific sentence or fact you believe is incorrect.
3. The correct information.
4. A source for the correction, if you have one.

What happens

We investigate every reported error. If we confirm the error, we correct the story, append a correction note at the bottom explaining what was wrong and when it was fixed, and reply to you to confirm. If we conclude the original was correct, we will respond explaining why.

Response time

We aim to respond within three business days.
